Ash (unfinished)

I am making some traditional steam bent Ash mast hoops for a Lowestoft smack Excelsior. These attach the sail to the mast.


This pair of bedside cabinets are made from just the streaky brown part of the tree.
Wild streaky patterns that grow out from the centre of the tree, and sometimes have little relation to the grain of the wood

The arms of this armchair sweep down which means they don’t get in the way of your elbows if you are knitting a jumper, or doing other work.

A lovely table made from 3 inch Oak. The 35mm top is made of 3 boards joined together with 10 loose tenons. Designed by my dad for their house.
